巴可BARCO--TAN Responsive Workbench?

　　The Responsive Workbench? was a joint development between TAN and the (German National Research Institute for Information Technology) in Bonn/Sankt Augustin. It is a single channel 3D projection table with a size of approx. 1,80m x 1,10m with a tilt surface of approx. 10°-45° for better viewing. With the help of an electromagnetic tracking system the user can move around or even walk into a virtual object. The image is rendered and redisplayed in real time to always produce the right perspective for the user. Thanks to the TAN Multiple-Tracked-Viewing-System, developed by TAN, it will soon be possible to visualize several individually tracked images on one workbench.
