TAN developed the first 2 channel solution in 1998, called the TAN HOLOBENCH?. It is a L-shaped 3D projection table with 2 orthogonal projection surfaces. It creates a visualization very close to futuristic dreams of holography. The look and feel of the TAN HOLOBENCH? is even more immersive than the one of the standard workbench.
The complete housing is made of high quality wood in order not to interfere with the electromagnetic tracking system.
Further performance features:
? no metallic components for the total construction
? high reflective mirror for the horizontal projection surface
? two projection areas of approx. 1,80m x 1,10 m each
The TAN HOLOBENCH? is ideally suited to support the different process steps within the DMU (Digital Mock-Up) chain like collision detection and producability based on a virtual model.
